'Night of a Thousand Laughs!'
" Night of a Thousand Laughs " is a stage show produced by Chris Gidney of 'Christians in Entertainment' ( and there are a surprising number of them). The show in Bradford featured Don Maclean, Canon and Ball, Jimmy Cricket and Syd Little, and yours truly was responsible for directing the multi camera filming for a new CTA video. Aptly enough the Outside Broadcast unit we hired is owned and operated by several of my BBC colleagues from way back. The new video will be a mixture of theatre and interview, laughter and testimony - ideal for what they call "pre-evangelism" among an older audience who'd never dream of going to church and who perhaps think of God as an old fuddy duddy and no fun. We plan to have it ready by this spring.
